Haywards Heath Town Youth are delighted to announce Ted Dale’s arrival as Head of Coaching. Ted will work across all our youth sides in both girls and boys’ football and will help us to raise standards of coaching delivery and player development.

Ted is a well-known figure in the football world and has previously been the Global Director of the David Beckham Academy, Academy Director at Chelsea FC and spent 10 years as a Senior National Coach Developer for the FA.

Ted will start his role immediately and will build on the great work our team has already done to build a support structure around our coaches at all levels of the Club. He will also spend time supporting our U18 squad on their first venture into Isthmian League football, working with both players and coaches.

Ted said “I’m really excited to be involved with this Club, I’ve got to know if well through my relationships with the first-team coaching staff and I’ve seen how committed the Board of the Club are to grow within the community. I’ve met with some of the Youth committee and I understand their objectives and feel I’m well-placed to help. I’m looking forward to getting started”

Jane Isherwood, Youth Chair commented “I’m so pleased that Ted has agreed to help us within the Youth section of the Club. It would be near impossible to find another person with Ted’s credentials and experience and we’re delighted that we’ll be seeing more of him around the Club.”
